DIVING WITH WHALE SHARKS

Every summer, between mid May and September, the shallow waters of the Yukatan peninsula warm up and attract the life source for the biggest fish in our oceans , the whale shark. Specific currents, reef formation and water temperature all contribute to the concentration level of plankton in the water. Each year between May and September conditions around Isla Mujeres are ideal for one of the world’s highest concentration of plankton. And with the plankton come the Whale Sharks, sometimes hundreds of them at a time

With Deep Bubbles you get to see and snorkel with the whale shark, the enormous but harmless biggest fish in the world!
